Le Voyage Dans La Lune (A Trip to the Moon)

A trip to the Moon or Le Voyage Dans La Lune in French is one of the first films made. It was released in 1902. It was a silent film that was made for entertainment. When we compare our technology and discoveries nowadays with their technology and the things that they know in the year 1902, we can see that there is a great difference.
If I were present during the first screening of the film I would be very interested with it. It is because during that time no one had ever been to the moon and no one knew what the surface of the moon would look like, so seeing the film would make the people wonder if the moon really look like the one in the film, a moon with a face, and if someone can really go to the moon with the help of a huge cannon. It was also showed in the film that there are living things present in the moon.  Also, with their technology that time people will already be amazed by the film's effects and animations. The film was also released in colors.
Some of us will see the film as somewhat weird and boring because it’s a silent film. But if you’re a person who were present during the first screening of the film you’ll see the film in a different way. For me, the film was still interesting and fun. The film even made me laugh.
